Adept Rules
Raiding Rules
Here are a list of the rules that needed to be followed and understood about raids signups, attendance and actual raiding.
the current raiding roster is :-
mon: Decided Weekly - 8pm
tues: various - 8pm (non compulsory)
wed: Decided Weekly - 8pm
thurs: various - 8pm (non compulsory)
fri: Decided Weekly - 8pm
sat: various - 8pm (non compulsory)
sun: Decided Weekly - RAID STARTS 7PM SERVERTIME
this is subject to change for more time in various target instances.
The non compulsory raids may or may not happen it is dependant on them being organised. These events are not officially organised by the officers.
Raiding times are : MON/WED/FRI -8:00PM -00:00AM Sever time, and SUNDAY'S 7:00pm-00:00am Server time
1) As adept we expect a 75% attendance, we raid 4 times a week, which means 3 raids out of 4 you will need to attend to, if this drops for a large period of time without reason, we will have no choice but to question you, and if a satisfactory reason is not provided then further action maybe taken
2) Officers and class leaders do not automatically get signed up for raids.
3) Sign ups are done on the PHPRaid, the raid leader will promote the raid team on the day of the raid that is balanced and in his opinion capable of killing the target bosses that night.
4) During raids the raid leader and officers get full contol of the raids, meaning anything that we instruct needs to be carried out without question. Objections to this should be taken up with the officers and class leader after the raid.
5) A loot master is set, and loot is done by ARP (DKP) basis, please when in raid and something drops that you really want, please do not spam raid chat telling everyone, and DO NOT whisper other players asking them to pass, as it may also benefit them also, and if they say 'no' then things can become uneasy.
6) If we are waiting a long time before either doing a boss or moving on, this is generally down to discussion about tactics or something between the officers, so please dont spam the /yawn /sleep emotes, also an officer will always try to explain what is happening, if nothing is heard, then ask in your class channel or ask your class leader.
7) Raid chat needs to be clear at all times, if you need to talk to others in the raid when we are not doing anything, please use your class channels or whispers. Or set up a new channel.
8) Please bring mana pots, health pots, anything to will help you out in the long run, also anything that will increase DPS.
9) If we feel some people of a class are really not doing as much healing/damage/cleansing etc... that they should be with the gear they have, then we will have no choice but to speak to you and find out why, as this is making more work for others and this is a team
10) If ML gets forgot to be set, and the loot appears on screen for people to pass, need, greed, if anyone greeds or needs on BOP items, then you are ninja looting, and you will be removed from raid straight away, then spoken to at a later date, and a decision will be made about you as a raiding member
10) Alts are only allowed in selected instances (currently none), as long a balance allows, if the raid leader or an officer/class leaders, asks you to play your main character, then without question please swap this is to increase the chance of a successful raid.
11) If you sign up for a raid and do not show up, without good cause or letting someone (preferably your class leader) know then you will be subject to an arp deduction, if you leave before raid end is called you will be subject to a ARP deduction.
12) Ventrilo is there for a reason, please be on ventrilo at all times. if for any reason you cant get on, please ensure your class leader has been notified.
13) If during a raid, you need to go AFK, then make sure class leader knows beforehand, a simple 'sorry, i have to afk for 5 mins.... (enter reasons here)'. Constant AFK's may get you replaced, and or not invited to future runs.
14) when running an instance that requires the Main Tank to go first, then common sense tells us you do not go past the main tank, please bare this in mind
15) Only the owner of each character is allowed to play that specific character on raids

Additonal Rules
1) ARP will be set to 0 for any of the following reasons : Leaving the guild, deleting characters, going into an inactive status (either by request or enforced). There will be no exceptions to this rule.
2) Leaving a raid midway through, will incur a ARP loss the same as if you signed up for a raid and not shown up at all. This will be done on a case by case basis, as obviously there are valid reasons for leaving a raid. Some examples of reasonable excuses are : illness, family issues, emergencies or problems with hardware/isp type things which are making the game unplayable. It still remains that a CL should be given where possible necessary notice of your intent to leave the raid.
Frequently leaving raids even with valid reasons may bring a review of your rank within the guild.
3) When a player leaves Adept for any reason the player will also remove his alts. If this is not done immediately the players alts will be removed by an officer as soon as possible. If you would like to bring your alt back into the guild for social purposes you will apply to join as social like anyone else.
You will leave all Adept channels on all characters, we cannot enforce this. However as a sign of respect and maturity it is expected you will follow this request.
Forum access will be removed.
Forum access may not be given back if the player has moved to another raiding guild or where we feel the information held on the forums will be seen by people who have vested interests outside of Adept.
4) Frequent use of Guild chat, Raid chat or class channel to discuss things outside of the current raid may lead to the following penalties :
first offence - warning
second offence - warning + -2ARP
third warning - final warning + -3ARP
fourth warning - removal from raid + loss of ARP in accordance with signing up for raid and not attending.
Frequent abusers of the channels will have their status within the guild reviewed.
5) Issues with guild related matters even if they may be affecting the current raid are to be discussed outside of raid.
